Our School
World Martial Arts Academy, under the direction of Master Daniel Black, offers instruction in Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido, the Korean Royal Court Martial Art. We are one of the few schools in Central Ohio to offer instruction in Hapkido.

To his credit, Master Black has pioneered martial arts programs in three Central Ohio school districts. For the past 10 years, in fact, he has offered martial arts programs in the Worthington City Schools Extended Education Curriculum. World Martial Arts Academy also offers youngsters a summer day camp program packed full of field trips, cooking and crafts, themed activities and daily martial arts classes.

Martial arts training has many benefits for people of all ages. One of the greatest benefits of training in martial arts is the self-esteem and self-discipline that our students learn.

Our Students
We have great students at our school and hope that when thinking of starting a martial arts program you would consider us in your decision.

Martial arts training means more than just practicing a few hours a week. We encourage our students to be active members of the community. Many of our students perform volunteer work, giving back to the community and passing on the values that are part of martial arts training.

World Martial Arts Academy also runs several after school programs to reach out to students that otherwise would not have an opportunity to participate in a martial arts program. We have been profiled in The Columbus Dispatch for our after school programs.
